As the founder and CEO of deTASO, there are many things I could say about our product and our service. However, one of my favorite things to share about our company is a statement we hear after almost every launch. The phrase, "This changed everything," is one of the highest compliments I think we could receive. It's a phrase that captures what we strive to do here at deTASO.
We live in a world driven by information and technology. Although this is helpful, it does not come without a few unique challenges. Over the past seven years, we have helped quite a few companies who have transitioned to deTASO learn some helpful lessons along the way. To ease your software transition, try discussing the following topics with your team before, during, and after the transition.
In this video, the deTASO team explores the utilization of teletherapy services in Arkansas. With the Governor’s declaration of a state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we felt compelled to use our resources to compile valuable information pertaining to the provision of teletherapy services for Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. This presentation was not exclusive to clients of deTASO and was intended to be an aid to all providers across the state.
In this webinar, we revisit the topic of managing accounts receivable with deTASO. The software’s ability to provide transparency into so many aspects of financials lends itself to more than one webinar. The content simply cannot be covered in one sitting. For this exercise, we polled our current clients and potential clients for questions and concerns that they would like to see us cover. We also provide several ideas that come from the deTASO team. There are some tips and tricks that we feel will provide efficiency and simplicity to dealing with financials. So the content of this webinar will be a mixed bag of helpful topics for maximizing your company’s bottom line.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) aims to improve socially important behaviors by using interventions which increase or maintain some behaviors while reducing or restricting others. Because of the measurements taken and data being evaluated over the course of a client’s treatment, there are many unique parts of ABA that are not shared amongst other therapy disciplines. That is why our team at deTASO designed a stand-alone therapy platform, whereby your clinic can produce and manage all aspects of ABA treatment plans.
One of the more challenging aspects of directing or owning a company is finding the balance between employee accountability and employee freedom. In this industry, most therapists are accustomed to and seek out positions that allow them to set their own schedule of providing therapy services. The challenge lies in allowing therapists the freedom of doing so while ensuring that all clients receive the correct treatment services that they need and in a timely manner. This is crucial to your business because, obviously, your company won’t receive payment on services not rendered.
It is no secret that the EIDT and outpatient therapy industries are ever-changing environments; and there will always be treatments and services which need to be rendered. Since that is the case, it is easy to focus all your financial efforts on the most recent and least resistant billable items; to provide the quickest revenue which allows you to put toward the paying of bills and payroll. Oftentimes, when that happens, some of the services rendered go without reimbursement. It is easy to accidentally let partial or non-billed records get left behind or swept under the rug as new billable records begin stacking up, waiting to be processed.
