Managing Accounts Receivable Part 2

In this webinar, we revisit the topic of managing accounts receivable with deTASO. The software’s ability to provide transparency into so many aspects of financials lends itself to more than one webinar. The content simply cannot be covered in one sitting. For this exercise, we polled our current clients and potential clients for questions and concerns that they would like to see us cover. We also provide several ideas that come from the deTASO team. There are some tips and tricks that we feel will provide efficiency and simplicity to dealing with financials. So the content of this webinar will be a mixed bag of helpful topics for maximizing your company’s bottom line.

One specific topic we discuss is correcting posting errors. In this portion of the webinar, Michael teaches you how to undo incorrect and unpaid postings so that you can correct and get paid for services. Michael also stresses the importance of deleting the incorrect posting so it is removed and will not be billed for again. Another client question pertains to issuing refunds. Refunds provide an interesting hiccup when an administration team is trying to keep up with accounts receivable. The deTASO team goes through the process of issuing a refund in deTASO so that the documentation is correct if this process is ever needed in our business. This webinar will also cover specific client questions on EIDT facilities and OT/PT complexity codes.

Under the “deTASO directed ideas” portion of the webinar, the deTASO team explores some of the more helpful financial reports that can be found in deTASO. These reports pull data directly from billing activities, so any time a report is pulled, it is real time relative to billing actions. Michael also touches on Primary Insurance, Secondary PASSE billing and how deTASO can be used as a helpful tool in those instances. The software provides an efficient way to distinguish when to bill each of these options.

We could provide a day’s worth of content on the topic of billing and A/R management. This webinar covers the more common questions and concerns that come to our billing support team from our existing client base.
